After the previous day's unsuccessful attempt we planned a more direct route to Ben Lawers and considered hiring snowshoes from the local outdoor shop in Killin. It rained at valley level, for what we could tell, all night and the thought of even more new snow to plough through made us think of a plan b.
So in the end we decided to pop over to Glen Coe and check out the ski resort and I'm glad we did. The cover and depth above the top of the access chair is unreal, with snow over the fences, the runs blend into one another and gives great freedom. Although mid week, I heard over the radio that 280 tickets were sold, which showed sometimes with queues for some lifts but never too long.
No photos on this one, as I was having too much fun but the forecast tomorrow looks good so I'll have to get a few.
